I’m now in Tennessee, but two states ago I visited the Oklahoma City National Memorial that remembers the 168 people (including 19 children) who died in the 1995 bombing.
It was a gray day, perfect for the somber mood of the place. Each chair represents one person (notice the smaller chairs in the middle for the children). I had a hard time not crying.
