Grand Canyon is a vast, overwhelming place. I took approximately one billion photos when I was camping there in April, and have (obviously, ahem) had a hard time organizing myself to share them with you. Here’s a start.
I thought I’d try to categorize the photos into groups, starting with a few shots of people experiencing the canyon, seemingly for the first time.
More to come next week.

The last one is just pure magic. You have this incredible ability to make it seem obvious that landscapes are sentient.
Susan, that is a huge compliment – thank you.
Great job. It’s hard, isn’t it? When you take photos in an amazing place and then have to choose which of those photos are best to share. I’m sure they are all good so I don’t envy the task that is ahead of you. I will however soak in every photo that you post because they are so good!

Thanks, Manisha! It’s not a bad problem to have – too much of a good thing, ha.
The last one truly does capture the vastness and the “ahhhhh” of it all. We all feel your pain in the organizing and processing part though – but that is the joy of it all, months later getting to relive what you saw (and sometimes what you didn’t)!

Sherry – Great point about what one saw and didn’t! Thanks for commenting.
