I believe that eventually our little one is going to ask for a dog or else just bring one home for us. So I’m trying to come to terms with it now. Neither Dave and I are dog people. You’ve given me a very good reason to embrace this possibility.

Manisha – Sam is my very best companion, and has enriched my life more than I could have known. I can’t speak for non-dog people adopting dogs, but I’d guess he or she would become a beloved family member regardless. Plus it would thrill your little one.
