I’ve got a hypothesis and I’m just going to put it out there. After hanging out in Del Mar recently, I’m wondering if one reason Americans have a harder and harder time holding their attention to one topic, task, or Hey, look! Nicolas Cage!
As I was saying. In one’s quest for focus and Zen-like calm, American state fairs aren’t helping. At all. Exhibit A:

I love all state fairs! The chaos! The mania, the smells! Bring it on and eat all the crap you can handle, like funnel cakes!!! Bring it!

I love the MN state fair but only if I go every third year. So we are due to go this year and now, thanks to you post, I will be looking everywhere for Nicolas Cage!
