I just got back from almost three months in California, and even though I’m glad I was there, I’m feeling starved for wide open spaces.
I’m planning a big Scamp to remedy this, starting next month (I’ll tell you more about that soon), but I wanted to finish up the Scotland photos and pulled a few that give me that relief, that sense of ahhhhh. The antidote to too many people and the hustle of city life.
What about you? What calms you down when you’re feeling crowded or stressed? Let us know in the comments.

THREE WHOLE MONTHS in California and you didn’t make time to come up to SF and have lunch with me? Should I be insulted? LOL
Deborah – No, you shouldn’t. π I didn’t even see friends in L.A.!
Water, sometimes, even just my shower!
Nice! Get it where you can and even better if it’s close to home. π
Almost anywhere in nature calms me. Preferably on a hike with Tom. Getting back to nature for me is like hitting my reset button. Inner calm, peace, breathing in the sights, sounds and smells. Ahhh
Lee, I totally agree. I love city energy and then… I don’t. Time for a nature fix.
I hate noise which is why I live in a tiny town. San Diego is fun to visit and is quite beautiful but w-a-y too busy. But these photos of Scotland, WOW! The kind of peace I love.
I am headed to the ocean, a small town in Mexico. That is where I go to de-stress!
Emilie Vardaman recently posted…Corolla Wild Horses!
Emilie – So glad you liked the Scotland photos, and I’m with you on them representing peace. π Enjoy Mexico!
